Summer is Here

Summer is finally here in Logan, with no turning back.  Last weekend we had Richie's sister, Holly, and her family come up for a day of delight.  She has four kids and they all like Eve, and she loves them; although she wasn't quite sure what to make of her first bath with another baby.  But Aiden, her cousin, had no problems relaxing and enjoying the rub-a-dub-dub.

On a completely different note, we have shares in irrigation water for our garden, and today was the first day that it came through really well.  So well in fact, that Eve fell right into it.  It was a pretty funny sight to see.

Our Spring in Photographs

I want to catch everyone up on the past few months, so here are a lot of pictures.  But I promise not to wax loquacious.

Easter

hunting Easter eggs can be exhausting

Bear Lake
We spent the first weekend in June camping at Bear Lake.  It was fun, Eve loved it, but man, camping with a toddler is exhausting.  That is the second time I have used the word exhausting.  I'll probably use it several more times. The first few pics are when we went to some nearby caves called Minnetonka Caves.  It was interesting, and surprisingly, Eve seemed to really enjoy it.

Eve is stilling chewing everything, especially bottles and flip lids.

Eve loved playing in the water and sand.  Loved it.
One thing she does get from me:  she's a water baby all the way.

What camping with a toddler will do to you.  He literally passed out.
Did I mention we were exhausted?

Utah Summer Games

Trying to swim competitively: not a good idea.
But being in small age groups, we all won mredals, thank you!

Salt Lake City
We went down to SLC last weekend so that Richie could play in a golf tourny with his dad and brothers.  I met up with Nikki and took Eve to the Tracy Aviary.  Afterwards, we had a BBQ at Richie's sister Holly's house.

Second trimester, anyone?

Eve loves her cousins, and I think the feeling's mutual.  She really was having fun on the swing with Connor, though her face doesn't reflect it in the pic.

Father's Day

Seriously, these are two peas in pod

A Well Deserved Break

Okay, I'm back from my hiatus with some exciting news...Lucy's vet appointment was great--she's a healthy cat!   Oh that, and I've been working on this little surprise too:
It should be done by December 2nd.  Hopefully earlier--though not too early!  I've had enough of that already.  I will be back with more details on how I got pregnant with an IUD (!) in a later post.  I will also post some pictures, but I think I fried both my cameras the other day, so that needs further investigation.
