Hello, World Wide Web

Welcome, you few brave souls who have decided to enter my little corner of the internet. I won't promise that this will be an exciting investigation into my inner pysche, nor will it be a blog full of wit, wisdom and on-the-spot satirical humor comparable to Alexander Pope or Tina Fey. But, hopefully it will be entertaining enough to engage you for a few brief moments every few weeks. Or months. Or years.

I'm really not much of a blogger, emailer, phone caller or any other sort of communication specialist. I am mostly posting this blog for those who are interested in my pregnancy and like to follow bump news. Please, don't think of this blog as self-serving and narcissistic. I am doing this for the select few who will actually want to see me get fat, bloated, and only able to waddle like a duck. Hi Mom!

Hi Renee! Kate passed your blog address along. I'm so excited for you and Richie- I can't wait to see the newest member of your family.

Ah, glorious day! I cannot wait to see what splendors and witticisms shall be recorded here.
Only one question: if it's a girl how on earth will you name her Gus?

Sarah, whatever do you mean? Of course we're naming her Gus! Isn't that the most perfect name for a girl or a boy?

Kris-
So good to hear from you! You should send me your email address one of these days. How is everything with you and Jon? I can't believe it's already been a year since your wedding. Happy Anniversary! (several months late, I know)
